The C-Max comes standard in a front drive train with continuously variable transmission. The Ford C-Max can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 8.1 seconds.

The 2014 Ford C-Max received great scores in safety and crash tests, getting good ratings for its frontal protection and side protection.
