2013 Ford Mustang: The Driver’s Car

12Just as strong as it was, the2013 Ford Mustang remains to be the world’s best muscle car and has one of the most powerful engines in its category. The 2013 Mustang underwent few upgrades and additions for this year. For the Mustang GT, a 5.0-liter V8 engine with the capacity to create 420 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque is its driving horse. For both engines, a six speed manual transmission is offered as standard mate while a six-speed automatic with manual shift control is offered as an option.

Inside the 2013 Ford Mustang is an inviting and comfortable cabin with soft-touch surfaces. The coupe’s standard seats are supportive while an available Recaro racing-style seats are also being offered. The rear seats are well-designed. However, as you would expect for a sports car, legroom and headroom are quite tight especially for adults. When it comes to controls, the new Mustang have them placed conveniently and worked it out so that users can navigate them with much ease.

Standard safety features for the 2013 Ford Mustang include antilock disc brakes, traction control and stability control, hill start assist, MyKey system, front-seat side airbags for chest and head protection.
