23Available this year is Ford’s entry in the large car, the 2013 Ford Taurus. The Taurus looks to make an impact this year with its great standard features. The 2013 Ford Taurus is available in three trims available – SE, SEL, Limited and SHO. The powertrain depends on the trim, with higher trims featuring more powerful standard engines. The base engine is a 3.5L V-6 that generates 290hp, 255 lbs. of torque at a fuel rating of 19 mpg city/29 mpg highway. The second engine type is a turbocharged 2.0L that generates 240hp, 270 lbs. of torque with an estimated fuel rating of 26 mpg. The Taurus SHO trim features a 3.5L twin turbocharged V-6 engine that produces 365hp, 350 lbs. of torque, at a fuel rating of 17 mpg city/25 mpg highway.

The 2013 Ford Taurus has great cargo space at 20.1 ft3. Seats are very comfortable, and you can opt to get the multi-contour seats which feature a built-in massage for one’s back. The dashboard is also great, with MyFord Touch in three touchscreen displays with the ability to receive voice commands.

The 2013 Ford Taurus comes with air-conditioning, cruise control, tilt-telescoping steering wheel, a 6-speaker audio system w/ CD player and auxiliary audio jack.
